Well, this was an extra days work, plus a lot of shop dirt. See the head of the bolt of the starter motor to the right of the picture? When I trial-fit the new headers, that bolt was about one inch INTO one of the tubes! But never fear! The motor can be rotated away from the headers. Only thing was that in order to do so, I had to grind about a pound of iron off of the block. There is NO clearance between the block and any part of the starter now! Whew. But there is NO dent in the new headers.
